The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors on Monday, Oct. 20, rejected all six nominees to fill two vacancies on the Sedona Airport Board of Directors, citing concern about how airport officials chose the candidates.

Winkelstern devotes more time to craft

Delores Winkelstern creates jewelry. She said her passion has always been art but it wasn’t until coming to Sedona 13 years ago that she began to follow it.

Winkelstern is originally from Houston. She said she had a similar experience as many who move to the city, first coming as a regular visitor and falling in love with the scenery. Her in-laws live in Prescott, which made visiting the area easier.…
